Rosemary,

Thank you for your blog posts, they are always inspiring.

I had a friend make this recipe at my home as a gift one year but she made the recipe and formed it into one huge wreath that fit the perimeter of my platter and so it formed a fun edible means to hold an assortment of Christmas cookies on the inside of the wreath. She even put a red bow on the top of this huge wreath. My family LOVES this and can't wait to start slicing into it. . . .

Hugs,
Denise

I love this recipe! Great memories for me. When I taught high school home economics, I would invite the principal in to my classroom each Christmas to give a cooking demonstration to my 'foods' students. This was one of the recipes he demonstrated each year. The students enjoyed seeing their principal in a different role, and I enjoyed seeing him so delighted in being able to share so enthusiastically.
