Tea cup Thursday

The delicate thistle adorns this English Bone China tea cup and saucer. Marked Aynsley on the bottom, complete with a crown, it is a colorful cup.

Miss Spenser and others are celebrating tea cup Thursday today. Be sure to visit them too!

I love Aynsley teacups! The thistle pattern is adorable! I was so surprised to learn many years ago on my first trip to Scotland, it is their national flower.

Hmmm, would you pass the cookies, please?

What a beautiful cup! Thistles are much prettier on china than in person!! When we first moved out here, our neglected farm had thistles...we had to get rid of them, it is our county law...OH MY...that was a lot of hard work!! SO...I do appreciate thistles on china, but not in my fields! ha. Donna
