Celebrating National Hot Tea Month...

...with international black tea.  This colorful assortment of individual tea packets of Flavoury Tea was part of my holiday gift box from my Japanese pen pal, Mikako.

There is just enough English on the box to discover that they are black tea with an assortment of different flavors from the Nittoh Black Tea company

Yesterday I sampled the Caramel Strawberry tea which was very nice and smooth with the caramel noted to be the predominent flavor.  On occasion, it's nice to enjoy the convenience of a tea bag.

I don't know if your tea room closes some in January but I do hope you have some "down for tea" time too!

These special treat teas sound wonderful. What a lovely gift. I agree that on occasion teabags are handy. I always have a few on hand for just in case.

I really enjoy tea packets with languages from all over the world on them. Not only are the words different than what we are used to viewing, but the graphics have their unique style as well. Your tea gift was thoughtful and each packet is so pretty! What a thoughtful friend you have!
