What do you do with all those little magnets that accumulate over the years? My tea themed magnet collection is extensive ~ and they are tucked here and there! Since the tea room also serves dinner, we do occasionally offer coffee with the meals. This collection of tea related magnets decorates the front of the coffee machine. When he was younger, Cedar enjoyed moving them around, redesigning the placement of the magnets; even taking a few to put on the fridge in his home!
This quiet collection of magnets hides on the side of the fridge, in the kitchen. That's Mom in the teacup, always present, looking over my shoulder as I work in the kitchen.
And this collection is attached to the inside of the medicine cabinet in the tea room powder room, filling up an otherwise empty cabinet door. Really, I don't need any more tea related magnets; but, why is it that I feel the need to buy one when I see it?
That is a fun collection.
ReplyDeleteBecause the newly found magnets call to you, telling you to take them home. Your collection needs them, too.- jp
ReplyDeleteHow sweet to have your "mom" in the kitchen to always watch over your shoulder...what a sweet and peaceful thought. Will keep my eyes open for tea magnets to send your way!

Collections are nice -- and it is nice to have themed ones.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great collection, Nancy! Maybe you could use magnetic paint (yes! There is such a thing!) on the doors or a wall in your tearoom and showcase your entire collection!!!
ReplyDeleteIt's an addiction. I can't refuse either, but I am trying. Loved seeing your collection.
ReplyDeleteMy fridge is loaded with tea themed magnets. I sometimes rotate them --- keeping the rest in a Rubbermaid container until the mood strikes to change them. I've seen some creative ideas for their use --- like using a new cookie sheet as a bulletin type board to place them on. Then hang the cookie sheet somewhere handy. I love your creative ideas for tea magnet use.
