for grinding the herbs. The informative docents dressed in period fashions
and guided us through the grounds and the interior of the home.

Oh, can't wait to see the herb garden! We used to have a William Penn College in Fairfield, Iowa - wondering if he settled here later in life?? Donna

ReplyDeleteWilliam Penn was also a Quaker and a fascinating man. I would have loved visiting his farm. What a fun tour.
