Another of our back roads Secret Treasures Tour stop was
Heartwood Nursery. This plant nursery has been specializing in native plants for 25 years! She has most every native you could be seeking including trees, shrubs and perennials.
Her recent addition has been a cute little gift shop. It looks like everyone on the herb seminar managed to find some special treasure to take home as a souvenir!
Everywhere you turned there was another little nook and cranny with Native plants. Every year in June they host a Serviceberry Saturday open house. She features all sorts of foods, jams with the Servicberries in addition to other native berries.
Even though Pennsylvania isn't my "native" area, I do believe I would have enjoyed learning about your native plants on this tour!
