Natalie Bogwalker enthusiastically embraces all the uses of plants in our material cultures. Whether it is as building materials, ropes, medicine, spoon carving, dyes, food or flavoring. She holds her degree in Ecological Agriculture. One of the favorite instructors at the annual Mid Atlantic Primitive Skills Gathering in Maryland, she is also the director of her own primitive skills school, called Wild Abundance and Firefly Gathering a primitive skills rendezvous outside of Asheville, NC. Above she is leading a weed walk and below instructing on spoon carving.
Nice to meet you Natalie!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fascinating woman I can imagine she must be. I would love to sit and listen in one of her classes.
