Flag Day!

I love these words. When we were in Berlin 2 years ago, we were with our German friends out on a Friday night near the Brandenburg Gate. It was busy with lots of people; both Spenser and I were feeling insecure. As we walked, what should we see flying high....our American flag over the US Embassy...I cannot put in words the patriotic-ness we both felt at that moment! Yes, 'the land that I love.'
