Green Tomatoes?
No problem! Consider Raspberry Jam 3 c. ground green tomatoes (use a food processor) 1 large box (6 oz.) Raspberry Jello 2 c. sugar
Combine all ingredients. Boil 10 minutes. Put in sterilized glasses. Cover with paraffin.
Thank you for stopping by my blog! You have so many wonderful things to look at and my mouth waters over all the delicious recipes! Some day I'll have time to try them out.
Fascinating recipe. Last week I used my green tomatoes in a chow-chow relish with green apples, onions, and peppers. I may share it on my blog at some point.
Your Serinitea Tea looked lovely and one I would thoroughly enjoy.
One of my other favorite uses for green tomatoes is in a BLT, using an egg and some cornmeal for the coating on fried green tomato slices. (Especially good with a raw garlic, olive oil, and maple syrup spread -- but beware the garlic breath!)

ReplyDeleteThat is just too cool. Sadly, all my tomatoes had blight and I got not one.
