We studied the geology of the rocks and the fish under the tutelage of elder sister Carolynn, the retired Earth Science middle school teacher.
Cedar climbed it all.
Carolynn held the scorpion spider.
We didn't.
Here we are standing in front of and obscuring the 'papaya' formation, a stalactite and stalagmite that have formed a column.
And safely back out.
There is nothing "boring" about your family! What a great fun and educational trip for the children!
ReplyDeleteWhat an adventure!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite word in this whole post is "safely." (Ha!)
ReplyDeleteSo glad you made it safely back out. I like caves, but sometimes they can be a bit claustrophobic. In Thailand we visited a cave where they wanted me to crawl through a small opening and I said "no", that was not for me.
ReplyDeleteClaustrophobia here...enjoyed the pictures....don't need a tour...would go on foodie tour with you though! Ha
