The Gardener of Owl Valley

On our recent Traveling  Herb Seminar  we offered a tour of our neighboring counties.  We titled the trip "Secret Treasures" and that it was.  We went over hill and dale to some little back yard secret gardens.
Our first stop was Judy Bono's Gardener of Owl Valley.  Judy is an amazing woodland gardener and comes up with clever terrariums and other little whimsical garden features like this pair of sedum shoes.

The entrance to her garden cleverly doubles as the front of her potting shed!   As we wondered through the trail we came across a lot of Native spring wild flowers.

She has a natural water feature which provides cool air and lovely back ground noise.
Her garden is a Bird Habitat, Butterfly Migratory Pathway, Wildlife Sanctuary and protected in the County Trust.  She proudly displays the signs tucked throughout.
