Family Geneology

Our cousin discovered this You-Tube video and shared it with us. This is a video of our Aunt Hildegard E. Peplau, the older sister of Bertha Peplau Reppert, our Mother. It is exciting to see her share photos of her parents (our grandparents), and also tell a little bit about her beginning years as a nurse. Hope you enjoy this peak into yesteryear, I know I did!

This is wonderful! How lucky you are to have this footage of her sharing her life...yet another spectacular member of your family! She reminded me of your mother, from pictures...so inspiring! I loved her sticking to her guns about publishing the book! Thanks for sharing...Donna (IA)

I do a lot of genealogy, so I am excited by your having this - what a treat! So much nicer than all the dry paper stuff!

How wonderful to have this video...talking with her about all the changes she has seen in her lifetime within the medical field must be awesome! Thanks for sharing your family. Judy

What a wonderful find, Nancy! It makes me think maybe WE all should be doing a similar recording for our ancestors.
