The Cozy
In June of 2008, we visited The Cozy in Thurmont, MD on a bus trip with The Rosemary House. Seems appropriate to mention this tea room again in a series on tea cozies. If you would like to read about that tea room visit, here is a link to the blog post.Beautiful table settings... and notice the tea box on the table. Here's to tea!

interesting and thanks for sharing. hope this doesn't sound mean spirited but... i think that place could take a few tips from you ladies on hosting a nice tea! i just shudder to think how difficult it would be to manage a star shaped sandwich filled with something as potentially messy as chicken salad! lol it all seems nice but.... i like teatime to be a bit more, shall we say, delicate? i can tell it is a restaurant instead of specifically a tearoom just by looking at the huge containers of foods looking very tilty on the three tier!lol oh gosh, i hope no one thinks i am being too critical, i just felt in our small group it would be okay to point out a few things that i would be disappointed with in their presentation!(besides the fact that this much red makes my eyes bleed!lol)thank you for sharing though. it is always nice to see even an effort being made toward civility in this day and age:) big herbal and honey hugs to you!:)
I enjoy seeing the red. Sometimes I get tired of always seeing pink in tearooms; so the red is a nice change of pace. The man that sells the tea boxes actually shared the booth with me last year at the World Tea Expo. He certainly does a good business with them.
