One final peek at the birthday celebration held earlier this month. Appropriately, a hand crafted fondant tea cup atop a sweetly decorated birthday cake. A special thanks to friend~neighbor~artist~fairy~Patti of Patticakes Confections for the fun cake! It added to the special tea themed celebration. 
So long August.... we will await your return next year; but must we continue counting?

Greetings Birthday Buddy! Yep...over 'til next year! I absolutely LOVE your bd cake...mine was boring out chocolate...no teacup on top! Have a wonderful Labor Day weekend now that we are older and therefore MUCH wiser! LOL!

What fun!! I like the idea of celebrating all month long! As I turned that momentous birthday this year - the big 50!! my family celebrated all week long...I have to say I loved it and am hoping it might happen again next year...but highly doubtful!! Anyway...to have a whole month of celebrating sounds wonderful! Happy Birthday!! Donna
I hope it still was a wonderful birthday, Nancy, whatever the count. I always considered birthdays "my very special day" but wouldn't mind forgetting which one it was, which btw, I did one year.
