Thursday today, featuring the birthday cup for the month of August. This Royal Albert bone china tea
cup from England, in both full size and petite cups, feature the Flower of the Month Series. For August, it's the Poppy. The cups are both dated and copyright 1970.

The August teacup is very pretty. The teapot is too. I have a few small pieces marked Lane End, but other than that, I don't know anything about the company.
The little petit sizes are so sweet. I love that Royal Albert Flower of the Month series.

Your August teaware is very pretty.
I've been thinking of collecting these teacups and didn't realize they date to 1970! They certainly age well, don't they!
