Fairy Garden Tea Party

We coordinated two special events with The Enchanted Teapot this summer. Our Frosted Tea Party was held earlier and blogged about here. Then in August, we welcomed Silvermist for a Fairy Garden Tea Party. Shown here are the quiet moments before the fairies arrive to our fairy tea party. The tables were set and the wands and wings were at the ready. And thanks to fairy magic, we were blessed with a humidity free day!

Such a very colorful party because next to sparkly glitter, fairies love color!

Pink lemonade, assorted hot teas and a tea tray of foods for the fairies and the mortals. Lots of sweets, scones and cheese sandwiches cut out in the shape of a fairy, egg salad, cucumber rounds and peanut butter bites.

SilverMist joined our party and shared glitter, bubbles and joy with the wee folk.
The timing of this event was perfect as the young great nieces were returning to the area after spending a week visiting with their grandparents. They were able to enjoy this fun afternoon in the gardens along with the other kids.
Smiles of happiness abounded!
