Daffodil Greens

The colorful yellow Daffodils and Narcissus are gone for this spring.  It is always such a joy to see them when they are here.  Alas, now we are left with the greens.  It is a must to leave the green leaves on as that is what is nourishing the flower bulbs for the big show next spring.  Do you tie the foliage?  Or perhaps you braid the greens?
I must say when they are tied or braided it makes for a  much tidier flower bed.

I have heard that you should braid or tie up daffodil leaves because it interferes with the plants storing food for nest year. But if you do it, I'm guessing it's not a problem! Any thoughts?

Our daffodils leaves are just blowing in the wind. The crocus leaves are now surrounded with grass in our lawn. About now I want to cut them down, but I know to leave them so we have a beautiful bounty next year.

Never heard of braiding the leaves but that sounds like a tidy idea to me! I noticed last night how mine were all bent over like they had collapsed on the ground saying, "Stick a fork in me, I am DONE."
