An informative sampling focused on herbs and tea with an occasional sprinkling of fairy dust and a glimpse into family activities too. The contributions to this blog are the combined efforts of the sisters of The Rosemary House and Sweet Remembrances.

Surreybrooke, Middletown, MD
Surreybrooke, in Middletown MD is a magical garden. This private garden of Nancy Waltz and her family can really rival most any public garden I have been to.
She creates interesting plant vignettes of perennials, shrubs, trees and herbs.
The Rosemary House Traveling Herb Seminar recently toured this garden and her garden center as well.
Nancy also has a special affinity for the local historic buildings and has rescued and moved a couple of log buildings to her property. She then builds gardens around them and uses the inside of the building for sales area or as workshop space.
This is a glimpse of her home and also a terrific indication of the container grown plants and groupings she creates.

Beautiful! How I would love visiting here. Love seeing the log structure and certainly would love to see more of it. Of course any garden as beautiful as this it pure delight to visit.
