It was our honour to welcome Lady Violet, the Dowager Countess of Grantham. She regaled us with stories of life during her era, including her own special interpretation on the upstairs-downstairs lives of Edwardian England.
An informative sampling focused on herbs and tea with an occasional sprinkling of fairy dust and a glimpse into family activities too. The contributions to this blog are the combined efforts of the sisters of The Rosemary House and Sweet Remembrances.

Oh, I would love to have been there, especially since I have finally taken time to watch Season 1 and got hooked! Your "servants" look quite charming. Carson would definitely approve. :)
Oh how I wish I could have attended your Downton Abbey tea. I know it was absolutely amazing!
What a dream tea! How fabulous! Those aprons were perfect. Glad you had a fabulous time!
Your table was so pretty!
