It was difficult to walk past all these tea rooms! Although we did our best to patronize as many as we could, it just was not possible! Just all the more reason to return!

Yes, It would be difficult to pass them. I remember a previous trip and having to pass them because I was traveling with people that weren't into tea.
You must have died a little inside at each and every one, because I literally groaned as I realized the shops you *didn't* get to go to! (On the other hand, since I'm playing catch-up and reading your blog backward for a few days, I'm quite sure I have a real treat in store!)
This is the best explanation of why we've been known to visit 21 tea rooms on a 17-day trip. I love tea room signs. Thanks for sharing!
