Independence Day Wedding - 1998

Today is our wedding anniversary, David Brill and I were married ten years ago. A July 4th wedding, to which my husband loves to point out: "Getting married on Independence Day is an oxymoron". We were married in Peace Church and friends and family were invited to a garden reception where they were entertained by a musical group named "Big Beetle and the Aphids". That beautiful (and ohh so delicious) cake was made by sister Nancy Reppert, who spent weeks crystallizing all those pansies, sister Marj Reppert did the wedding flowers using lots and lots of Rosemary for Remembrance of course. Sister Carrie Sears orchestrated the affair. It was a wonderful wedding committee I had and quite the handsome catch too.
Happy Anniversary, dear! Do you see those fire works? I ordered them special for our anniversary.....
